What are the Seven Havens?

A name for the places at stake

The title points to the surviving settlements in a world transformed by catastrophe. These places are more than a backdrop: their survival gives Pavi's journey a concrete purpose alongside the personal mystery of her family.

The official series description does not provide a complete, reliable atlas of all seven locations. A list circulating without episode references should not be mistaken for a confirmed geography. This guide therefore concentrates on the function of the havens and the location named in the released episode descriptions.

Ellora in the opening story

The official synopsis for episode 2 places the storm in Ellora, where the group must protect its home. Paramount's general introductory article uses a different spelling for Jae and Pavi's city. We use the episode catalogue's spelling when discussing that episode.

The opening episodes move from a public festival to an emergency that brings the group together. That structure introduces both sides of life in a haven: a community with its own customs and a place whose safety can quickly collapse.

Why an old map cannot answer every question

A Republic City map from Korra's era is useful for understanding that earlier story. It is not automatically a map of the post-cataclysm world. Before treating two locations as the same place, look for an explicit connection in the show or its official materials.
