The Legend of Korra has four books and 52 episodes: Air, Spirits, Change and Balance. Watch them in that order.

The four totals add up to 52. Some services call the books seasons; others show the book names. Check both the title and the episode number if a store splits a season into purchasing volumes.
Why release order works
Each book resolves an immediate conflict, but the consequences carry forward. Skipping Book 2 removes context for the spiritual world; skipping Book 3 removes context for Korra's condition at the start of Book 4. Watching only a finale can reveal a result while hiding why it matters.
Where the comics begin
After Book 4, Turf Wars continues the story, followed by Ruins of the Empire. Other collections include shorter stories. The comics guide distinguishes narrative order from buying separate issues or collected editions.
Is Seven Havens season 5?
No. Seven Havens is a separate successor series centred on Pavi and Nisha. Korra's television run remains four books. A platform placing both titles under an Avatar franchise collection does not merge their season numbering.
